McDonald’s ushered in the Year of the Rabbit with beneficiaries from non-profit organisations SINDA (the Singapore Indian Development Association), Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura (PPIS) and the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC).

The reunion-dinner styled sessions, led by McDonald’s Guest Experience Leaders (GELs), focused on making the Lunar New Year a celebration for all by bringing together families across multiple races, religions and socio-economic backgrounds in a cosy setting at McDonald’s Kallang.

From storytelling activities where families got to learn about the 12 animals that make up the Chinese Zodiac, to a uniquely McDonald’s ‘Lou Hei’ activity, our special guests walked away from the session with a deeper understanding of traditions associated with the occasion, in addition to enjoying a delicious meal courtesy of McDonald’s.

At the end of the session, families also received limited edition red packets from McDonald’s to commemorate their Lunar New Year experience.
