Strengthening Families Programme@Family Service Centre (PPIS)

FAM@FSC (PPIS)

From 1 April 2025, PPIS As-Salaam Family Support Centre transitioned to Strengthening Families Programme@FSC (PPIS), or FAM@FSC (PPIS), expanding beyond divorce services to include family counselling for all. Through this, we aim to support couples and families as part of upstream intervention work.

FAM@FSC (PPIS) offers Family Counselling (FC) and Divorce Support Programme (DSP) for individuals, couples and families.

Our Student Care Centres (SCC) focus on nurturing children through empowerment. We believe in the importance of instilling moral values, as well as equipping our children with life skills that they can take with them wherever they go.

Our centres provide a platform for children under our care to broaden their horizons through holistic learning experiences that allow them to unleash their potential. With our wide variety of programmes and activities, we strive to offer children the opportunity to achieve much more by harnessing their talents.

Most importantly, our centres serve as a second home to every child that walks through our doors, offering busy parents peace of mind knowing that their children are in safe hands.

  • Working through issues to resolve the conflict
  • Strengthening communication within the relationship
  • Working through the emotions relating to family or marital stress/conflicts

Who Is It For?

Counselling can help anyone who is experiencing stress due to family-related issues, including marriage, divorce, parent-child relationships or issues among siblings or extended family.

FAM@FSC

About

FAM@FSC works with stakeholders, community partners and religious organisations to strengthen marriages and families. This aligns with MSF’s Alliance for Action (AfA) to Strengthen Marriages and Family Relationships, which aims to build an ecosystem of partnerships within the community.

Clients currently receiving marital and family-related support at PPIS’ As-Salaam Family Support Centre and Sym Academy will be seamlessly transferred to FAM@FSC (PPIS), ensuring continued assistance. FAM@FSC (PPIS) continues to work closely with Syariah Court to provide support for clients who are referred for services.
