About
PPIS Family Service Centres provides casework and counselling services to individuals and families experiencing relationship difficulties, family violence, parenting and child management concerns, as well as other psychosocial challenges. Alongside our groupwork and community-based programmes, we continue to collaborate with community partners and organisations to strengthen family functioning and empower individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
Core Programmes of Family Service Centres
PPIS Family Service Centres (FSCs) offer casework and counselling services for clients who face intrapersonal relationship issues, family violence, child management, parenting concerns or other general concerns.
Our Family Service Centres (FSCs) provide Groupwork Programmes for women and children, to nurture new skills and a community of support.
Our Family Service Centres (FSCs) collaborate with community partners and organisations to run events and initiatives to benefit the community.
In conjunction with Deepavali, FSCW distributed festive hampers to more than 190 families staying at Block 412, Bukit Batok West. The initiative served to spread festive cheers as Singapore moved into the post-Circuit Breaker phase. Families were also invited to participate in a ‘Rangoli Sand Art’ competition as a way to encourage family bonding from the safety of their own homes. They submitted heart-warming pictures of them carrying out the activity together, and the result of their beautiful artwork. The winning entries were then rewarded with food vouchers.

FSCE staff organised the “I AM…” programme to support students from 7oaks Student Care (Bedok) on 19 October. The group work session engaged students through various activities in exploring their strengths and the challenges they faced, as well as to help reframe any negative thoughts into positive ones. Most importantly, our students learnt that they were stronger together and that they could continue leaning on one another for support!

Services are available to all families and individuals in need, regardless of background or circumstance. Anyone facing challenges in their family life can find the support they need at PPIS.
Yes. At PPIS, we are committed to make support accessible to individuals and families, ensuring they receive the assistance and resources needed to navigate life’s challenges.
Our Social Service Practitioners provide support through a range of engagement methods, including centre-based sessions, home visits, and phone consultations that last roughly 45 minutes to an hour long, to best meet the needs of individuals and families.
Although referrals can be made by concerned family members or friends, consent for the referred individual must be obtained before our Social Service Practitioners are able to engage them. We also accept referrals from schools, healthcare providers, and community partners via email. Our Social Service Practitioners will then follow up to understand their needs and render the appropriate support.
No. The counselling services are secular and focus on supporting individuals and families with their personal, relational, and social concerns, regardless of their religious beliefs. If you require spiritual guidance or religious counselling, we recommend contacting the relevant religious organisation or faith community.
Our Family Service Centres do not provide the Marriage Counselling Programme (MCP). If you have been referred for MCP services or would like to find out more about the programme, please visit FAM’s website for information on eligibility, referrals, and available services.
Operating hours vary across our family service centres in Singapore. Please refer to the sitemap on our website.
