Assoc Prof Razwana is Head of the Public Safety and Security Programme at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). She is a committed educator with high academic achievement in law, criminology, social work and counselling.
Prior to joining SUSS, A/P Razwana spent 18 years with the Ministry of Social and Family Development, where she worked directly with children and individuals in contact with the Criminal Justice and Child Protection systems. In her capacity as an Assistant Director, she led a team in the development of evidence-based programmes for high-risk offenders. She is a researcher who adopts a multi-disciplinary approach to complex problems. Her aim is to influence policies in generating the greatest social impact.
A/P Razwana is globally recognised for her work and dedication in promoting restorative justice. She is regularly approached to provide advice and training, cooperate on research projects, and present at seminars and conferences.
Currently she serves as Chair of the Social Services and Sym Advisory Committee.
Liyana is a lawyer specialising in family law matters. Liyana graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2012 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2013. In her early years of practice, Liyana was exposed to a wide range of practice areas including civil and commercial litigation, matrimonial disputes, criminal matters, as well as conveyancing. She has acted for several high-profile clients, including an international hotel brand and a multinational construction company. She has represented clients in the Singapore Court of Appeal for civil litigation matters, as well as at the Syariah Appeal Board for Muslim divorce cases.
Liyana is a mother of three young girls. Like herself, her children are also students of PPIS. In many ways, Liyana feels that her time at PPIS as a child has moulded her in the fundamental early years, and given her a solid foundation in life. Liyana hopes to be a role model to her own children first and foremost, and aspires to inspire and help others and to give back to society in the best way that she can.
Liyana is co-Chair of the Advisory Committee for Rise Above Halfway House. She is a member of the 19th Muis Council, and also sits on the Board of Directors of Casa Raudha Ltd. Liyana sits on the National Council on Problem Gambling.
Nur Khairah Abdul Rahim is a passionate marketer with over 10 years of regional marketing and sales experience in Sony Electronics, and start-up Popsical. She currently is a Co-Founder of Independents.ai, a start-up that seeks to match world class teams to marketing projects.
Khairah has volunteered for over 15 years, in various grassroots and community initiatives, including Project Khadijah – a not-for-profit that seeks to empower single mothers in Singapore with the right economic opportunities to earn a sustainable income. She was also part of the founding committee and served as the Chairperson of the 1st Executive Committee of the Young Women’s Leadership Connection, a platform dedicated at creating a pipeline of young women leaders in Singapore.
Currently, Khairah also serves as Chair for Corporate Communications Advisory Committee and Chair for Digital Transformation Advisory Committee of PPIS.
With more than 25 years of work experience, Nor Ainah specialises in intellectual property and knowledge management. She began her career as a Senior Officer at the Ministry of Law for nine years before moving on to the private sector.
A believer in life-long learning, she had pursued Master’s degree programmes at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and ISTAC-IIUM (International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation – International Islamic University Malaysia). She had, in addition, delivered the valedictorian speech during National Institute of Education (NIE) convocation for the Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Community Educators, having completed the programme.
Nor Ainah is passionate about travelling, art and architecture. Following her passion, she had also participated in volunteer missions to Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia. She was a Committee Member for Corporate Support Responsibility (CSR) at a law firm and is currently a Community Educator under the MENDAKI Tuition Scheme (MTS). She is presently serving as a member of the Executive Committee of the TAA Trust Fund (Tabung Amal Aidilfitri Trust Fund)
Zulaifah is a former Regional CFO with over three decades of experience in multinational and government-linked companies, including Citibank, Malaysia Airlines, and Singapore Post. She excels in corporate finance, transformation, M&A, strategic procurement, and managing large-scale operations and start-ups.
Currently, she is a board member of Image Mission Ltd and the Rahmatan Lil-Alamin Foundation, and volunteers with the Ministry of Social and Family Development. Zulaifah is committed to empowering women, sharing her career and life journey to support others in achieving their goals. Her leadership and advocacy for change define her impactful professional and personal endeavours.
Maria Mahat is the co-founder of Ungu Pen, a company established in 2016. Ungu Pen started as an independent publisher and has evolved into a print and digital content producer and a nonWSQ training academy with an online presence in promoting knowledge-seeking and lifelong learning.
Maria started her career in broadcasting and is an award-winning television producer, having scripted, directed and produced all genres of television and film productions. She also obtained a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education and Advanced Certificate in Assessment and Training and had been involved in policy-making and educational research at the Ministry of Social and Family Development, the Early Childhood Development Agency and the National Institute of Education.
With her wealth of experience, she co-founded Ungu Pen and is focused in creating quality digital and non-digital content for the early years until young adult. She is also a content developer and trainer for Ungu Pen’s SkillsFuture course and has spearheaded many of Ungu Pen’s publications and literary activities. She is a strong advocate in promoting high quality local literature and raising readers and thinkers in the community. To-date, she has authored six children’s picture books, a novella and produced animation shorts. Through Ungu Pen, she aspires to inspire minds and inspire lives.
Nur’Ashikin is a Partner in the Risk Services – Digital Audit practice at PwC Singapore. She provides assurance and advisory services related to internal controls for financial reporting to clients across various industry sectors, with a keen focus on those in the government, insurance, technology, and telecommunications sectors, as well as global MNCs.
Nur’Ashikin also leads the SAP controls practice at PwC Singapore. Outside of work, she is a mother of one and serves on the Audit and Risk Committee and the Digital Committee of SATA CommHealth.
